Minister Toluwalope Adelekun serves God’s purpose in her generation through different platforms. In the ’80s, she was part of an orthodox choir starting from the age of nine (9), and after her salvation encounters at the age of thirteen (13) and up till now, she has had the honor of serving her Lord Jesus Christ via diverse platforms while wearing different functional hats of worship leader, head of the choir, dance instructor for children, divisional head of music, multimedia, audio & video technical, products, etc.
She has had the pleasure of serving in almost all units known to a church – ushering, prayer, evangelism, hospitality, janitorial, decorations, protocol, books, tapes & products; photography & video; accounting, welfare, teaching discipleship classes, preaching, pastoring, pastoral care, village outreach, children’s ministry, etc. under the umbrella of Christian ministries, focused on either or both grassroots and urban communities.
She has also been privileged to have several personal encounters with the God of the holy scriptures which have shaped her life.
And on a recent encounter with the living Christ, she began to receive, write and create songs and has shared the testimony of how she was delivered from death and destruction through the song – ”The Name of Jesus Christ” and the book – ”He’s Still Doing Wonders”.
She’s also a writer and regularly ministers in the music, prayer, discipleship, evangelism, and children ministries; also a Change Management professional with more than fifteen (15) years of working experience in different ICT domains, through leading, collaborating & contributing towards the deploying of customer experience-led solutions and wearing different functional hats in management consulting and volunteering.
Sharing her piece on her latest musical offering, Toluwalope Adelekun shared – ”The ends of the world have dawned upon us, whereupon hell has enlarged its mouth and wickedness has advanced to cruelty.”
”Anyone at all can call on The Name of Jesus Christ and get rescued but the believer’s advantage is to wield that name as an instrument of defense to enforce the government of God on the earth in our daily lives and communities, for us to experience God’s love, joy, righteousness, peace, and prosperity through the Lord Jesus Christ.”
”The believer as part of the body of Christ, can also use the name of Jesus Christ as the authority to continue the ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ who was manifest to destroy the works of the devil.”
My belief in the name of Jesus has turned to experiences of triumph through a most difficult period of pain, suffering and trouble that has led to confident, firm and unshaken faith in the living Christ. ”I’m living and breathing today, only because the Name of Jesus Christ works wonders.”
