The ruling All Progressives Congress has now taken a u-turn hours after postponing the national convention indefinitely.
The party had now scheduled its national convention to March 26, the date earlier slated for the conduct of its zonal congresses.
The party had earlier communicated its decision to postpone the national convention to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The letter was signed by the Chairman of the APC Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC), Governor Mala Buni of Yobe State and the Secretary, John Akpanudoedehe.
Although not expressly stated, the decision to hold the zonal congresses had suggested that the February 26 national convention is no longer feasible.
