Terry Apala Shows Versatility In New Single – “KAMBA”.
Singer, songwriter, and Afro-fusion artiste Terry Apala has released his first offering for the year (Kamba) and it’s an instant hit. The Ozedikus produced single is a fine mix of raving sound Amapiano and Terry Apala’s signature sound – Apala and the output is just divine.
His excellent delivery on the dance tune has once again shown why he has rated as one of the most unique and most talented artistes in Nigeria. His characteristic chants just have the catchy hook is unbelievable and gives us all the chills.
Terry Alexandar Ejeh (born 31 October 1988) better known by his stage name Terry Apala, is a Nigerian Afrobeat and Apala (traditional Yoruba music) hip-pop musician. His genre is a fine blend of Afrobeat, hip hop and traditional Yoruba sound called Apala. His uniqueness mostly lies within his sound and his characteristic voice which has often be referred to as a ‘statement vocal’.
On 14 April 2017 he released a cover of Ed Sheeran’s single “Shape of You”.The cover won him “Best
Music Cover of the Year (International)” at the City People Music Award 2017. That same year, he was
nominated for “Apala Artiste of the Year”. Terry was nominated Rookie of the Year at the 2016 The
Headies Awards and “Most Promising Act to Watch” at the 2016 Nigeria Entertainment Awards.
He was featured on Reminisce’s 2016 song ” Skit”. He also featured On MI Abaga, Falz, and Flavor’s
albums that same year.
Kamba is available on all digital streaming platforms and its his first single off his upcoming album.
