A Twitter user @papillon_lilas has shared his encounter with Altine Hyelhira Daniel, a female police officer who shot human rights activist, Omoyele Sowore, in Abuja.
Daniel shot Sowore on Monday morning at the Unity Fountain in Abuja while he was trying to gain entrance into the venue for a demonstration against the worsening situation of things in the country.
The activist was said to have been speaking with a detachment of police officers stationed at the public facility when the female officer fired at him.
Protesters had converged on the fountain area at 8:30 am. But the police allegedly denied them entry into the place.

Many people also sustained varying degrees of injury during the incident.
Reacting to the photo of the female officer circulating on social media, the Twitter user said he was arrested by Daniel during #EndSARS protest last year.
Daniel, according to him, showed her high-handedness when she told him she could kill him and nothing would happen.
He also said the policewoman was referred to as 'Mama'.
His tweet read, "She arrested me during the #EndSARS protests and told me she could have me beaten or killed and nothing will happen. She's referred to as 'Mama' by her 'boys.'”
